Vacancy :Operation & Development Deputy Director

Responsibilities

· Establish strategies for expanding traditional markets, target new market segments

· Work closely with internal departments and suppliers to design and develop new products meeting business needs and undertake product branding and re-branding projects

· Monitor project schedule, cost control and development budget

· Ensure compliance with respective health, safety and environmental protection requirements and certificates e.g. European GS, UL, CE, RoHS, CB, BPS, etc.

· Stay abreast of market and technological trends and design products which meet customer needs

· Conduct market research and regularly introduce new products and business solutions to stimulate market demand and support business growth

Qualifications

Applicants should have:

· minimum 10+ years experience in operation and development of  household appliances, cookware, toiletries. At least 5 years' working experience in Mainland China market in the related field. .

· tertiary level education in Electronics / Electrical, or Engineering disciplines or with substantial working experience in the field.

· excellent understanding of business operation and the supply chain situation in China and countries where product parts are sourced.

· extensive knowledge of all the relevant health, safety and environmental protection requirements and certificates required in the production of the household implements, cookware, etc.

· good interpersonal and negotiation skills and management skills.

· comprehensive understanding of the production process.

· ability to communicate in fluent written and oral Putonghua is essential. Good command of Cantonese and English would be a definite advantage.

Salary and conditions of service

A highly competitive remuneration package will be offered. Appointment will be made on a fixed-term contract of two years and any bonus will be based on result-oriented appraisal. Applicants should state their current and expected salary in the application.
